vCricket
The vCricket programme is open to all 16 to 25 year olds to introduce young people into cricket, offering a broad range of volunteering opportunities and providing recognition and rewards for that volunteering.
vCricket is funded by V which is an independent charity aiming to inspire a new generation of volunteers aged (16 – 25) in England.
vCricket awards
The vCricket awards gives you recognition for completing 25, 50 and 100 hours. All you need to do to sign up is contact Claire Thorby (see below) to find a club and obtain a log book and survey monkey form. Then every time you volunteer in cricket you get your hours signed off by the volunteer co-ordinator at your club.
When you reach 25 hours of volunteering you send in the slip at the back of the book and we will send you a certificate and at 25 hours and vCricket polo shirt. At 50 hours you get a certificate and vCricket hooded sweater and at 100 hours a certificate and limited edition silver pin badge.
