I have a son/daughter who is keen to play cricket. How do I get in touch with a club in my area?
Please visit the clubs section of the website and enter your post code.
How do I nominate my son/daughter to play County or District representative cricket? When does winter coaching take place?
Nominations for the CCB representative squads may only be made by clubs and schools. If your son/daughter isn’t currently with a club, please see the answer above or speak to your school. District trials are held at various locations during the October half-term holiday (for more information click here). Players successful at these trials may be nominated for a County (Cambridgeshire Young Cricketers – CYC) trial. These are held at weekends in November and December in Cambridge. The various squads are finalised by the Christmas holidays and indoor training commences immediately after the start of the Spring term. Some sessions are on weekdays, others take place during the February half-term and Easter holidays. There may also be some outdoor coaching before the match programme begins.
